Colony Health Screenings

At the Colony Apartments, Healthy Columbia volunteers teamed up with the Columbia Police Department to organize a community check-in. Special thanks to Eau Claire Promise Zone for donating children's books to help with the health screening!

Back To School Bash

The Back to School Bash was held August 18, 2012 by our summer student interns! Crane Creek Community Center held the event where we were able to screen 64 adults. We also provided health programs to 125 children, which included taste testings of healthy foods, students learned how to plan healthy meals, and played health jeopardy!
 

Ribs and Renaissance

 Our student team screened 90 people, at this years Ribs and Renaissance festival this year held at Hyatt Park. Medical students and residents, nursing students, and masters and students of public health came together side by side with the community to promote healthy living.
